Matte PLA · 2 Series · Non-Glossy Finish
Add a Non-Glossy Matte PLA Option Without Changing Your Core Format
Compare Matte PLA Basic and Matte PLA Rainbow on the same 1.75mm / 1kg format as the rest of the range. Validate the surface appearance on your printers before adding a new visual tier to inventory.

01 — The Matte Range
Two Series, One Distinct Surface
Matte PLA is the finish choice when gloss works against the design: prototypes photographed under studio light, decor that should read like a finished object, calm shelf palettes. Two series cover the solid and the transition effect.

Matte Basic
Calm solid colors on a smooth non-glossy surface — layer lines visually disappear.

Matte Rainbow
Rainbow color transition with the same low-glare matte surface.

02 — Extrusion & Spec
A Consistent Matte Starts at Extrusion
A matte surface only works if the diameter is consistent — uneven filament shows up as uneven sheen. At the assessed manufacturing partner, extrusion runs under QC coverage on all production lines with written inspection records, and every lot traces back to raw material.
- Diameter 1.75mm, stated tolerance ±0.02mm.
- Prints in PLA ranges from current labels: nozzle 200–230°C, bed 45–65°C.
- 1kg per spool, vacuum-sealed with desiccant.
- 100% finished inspection plus random sampling, lot by lot.
03 — Typical Applications
Where Matte PLA Fits
| Series | Typical applications |
|---|---|
| Matte Basic | Decor objects, prototypes and product mock-ups photographed under strong light, architectural models and calm, design-led retail lines. |
| Matte Rainbow | Gift and display prints that want color transition without high gloss — muted gradients instead of bright shine. |
