Plan Filament Packaging for Storage, Freight and Shelf Handling
Use one published packing standard to estimate freight, plan warehouse handling and review how each spool is protected: vacuum bag, desiccant, individual box and 10 spools per export carton.

01 — Per-Spool Packing
Check How Each Spool Is Protected Before It Enters the Carton
Packing starts at the vacuum sealing station, not at the carton. Each 1kg spool is sealed in a transparent vacuum bag together with desiccant, then packed into its own box — so the filament leaves the line dry and stays protected through handling, sea freight and warehouse time.
- Transparent vacuum bag with desiccant, sealed per spool.
- Individual box per spool: 21.1 × 19.8 × 6.3 cm.
- Vacuum sealing is a defined step of the production flow: raw material → pellet drying → extrusion → vacuum sealing → packing → finished goods.
02 — Carton Data
Export Carton Specifications
Published carton data, so container loading, air-freight thresholds and landed-cost models can be built without asking us first.
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Spools per carton | 10 × 1kg spools |
| Net weight | 10 kg |
| Gross weight | ≈13.1 kg |
| Carton dimensions | 34 × 22.5 × 41.6 cm |
| Volume per carton | 0.031824 CBM |
Planning reference: 1,000 spools = 100 cartons, net 1,000 kg, gross ≈1,310 kg, ≈3.18 CBM by published carton volume.
03 — Why It Matters
Packing Decisions That Show Up in Your Numbers
Moisture Control
Moisture is one of the most common reasons end users complain about stringing and brittle filament. Vacuum sealing with desiccant keeps each spool dry from the line to the end user — fewer returns traced to storage and transit.
Freight Planning
Published carton dimensions, gross weight and CBM let your forwarder calculate container loading and landed cost immediately — no back-and-forth before the first quote is even comparable.
Retail Readiness
The individual box is shelf-ready as shipped, and doubles as the canvas for OEM work — custom labels, color boxes, barcodes and manuals for private-label programs.

04 — OEM Packaging
Separate Product Approval from Custom Packaging Approval
OEM and ODM packaging is available alongside the standard packing: customized labels, color boxes, spools, barcodes, instruction manuals and other packaging materials. The reference MOQ for customized packaging is 1,000 spools per design — final requirements, costs and lead time are confirmed on a project-by-project basis.
- Labels, color boxes, spools, barcodes and manuals.
- Color matching from physical sample, Pantone or image.
- Packaging components confirmed with their own minimums and lead times.
